Thunder Valley Casino and Resort hosts another World Series of Poker Circuit series stop September 26 – October 7 in Lincoln, California. Step satellites begin on September 23, so players have plenty of opportunities to win seats during the event along with all of the other satellites running throughout the tournament stop.
Everything in the series leads up to the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event October 3-7. The tournament has a buy-in of $1,700 with a $1 Million Guarantee – the first time TVPokerRoom has offered a seven-figure guarantee for a circuit main event. There’s three starting flights October 3-5, open for players to join the field. Day 2 runs October 6, and the final table plays down to a champion on October 7.
The big kickoff event is the $400 buy-in The Opener tournament featuring a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000. Starting flights run Thursday-Saturday of the opening weekend on September 26-28, with Day 2 wrapping up the action on Sunday, September 29. A $400 buy-in NLHE event also plays out on that Sunday, and it has a WSOP Circuit gold ring up for grabs as well.
The other marquee events on the tournament lineup include a $100,000 guaranteed Monster Stack $400 NLHE event from September 30-October 2. The last weekend also wraps up strong with a $400 buy-in Thirty-Thirty Accelerator event, and a $2,200 buy-in High Roller tournament.
And if you’re looking for poker variations other than NLH, there is Omaha 8, HORSE, 2-7 Triple Draw, and PLO in the mix as well during different points of the tournament series.
