On a night where many were honored for their poker prowess in 2019, it was Joey Ingram’s focus on the Mike Postle poker cheating allegations that made Ingram the only dual-winner of a 2019 Global Poker Award last night.

Ingram received the honor for both journalist of the Year and for Media Content – Video for his series of looks in to the now-well-documented scandal at northern California cardroom Stones Gambling Hall.

Others honored during the evening’s festivities at the PokerGO studio in Las Vegas was Drew Amato for his photo of Dario Sammartino picking cards at the WSOP Main Event; to Matt Savage as Tournament Director of the Year, to Tana Karn and the RunGood team for best mid-major series of the year and more.

Here’s a look at all the finalists and the winners.
