I’ve written about multi-million-dollar wins by players at the WSOP, covered $40 buy-ins at small central California cardrooms, written about bank robberies, game-winning field goals, murders, kindergarten field trips and the Oakland Raiders in my journalism career.
What I can’t recall is the last time I was reading about myself. That is, until today.
