About Hold’em Radio

Hold’em Radio is the nation’s original Poker Podcast and News Network, formed in 2005 and providing a home for poker podcasters in to its 16th year now. From its beginnings with a mix of podcasts and live shows, Hold’em Radio enjoyed a multi-year run with live broadcasts from Binion’s Poker Room with then-owner Wade Andrews where the World Series of Poker started in the 1970s.

Today, Hold’em Radio hosts more than 20 different podcasts each week, along with live broadcasts from poker tournaments around the country, sports handicapping and casino podcasts, plus live updates of major poker tournaments and full poker series’ all around the US and general news from the poker community. Owner Dan Ross and his team provide a wide array of poker coverage for the community.

From touring the country as the Live Updates Team for the Heartland Poker Tour since 2015, to being the in-house reporting team at TVPokerRoom at Thunder Valley for 100+ tournaments a year and The Commerce Casino for the 7-week-long LAPC, to smaller venues such as the Atlantis in Reno and Turlock Poker Room in central California – our team covers more than 300 separate tournaments each year in the US.
