Jamul Casino Poker Room in San Diego plays host to its first-ever poker series as the Ante Up Poker Tour settles in for a Sept. 20-29 run, including a $100,000 Guaranteed $550 Main Event next weekend.
The kickoff event is a $40,000 Guaranteed $300 NLH with two starting flights – Friday, Sept. 20 at 4pm and Saturday, Sept. 21 at Noon, with the Day 2 Final Sunday Sept. 21 at Noon. 20,000 stacks and 30-minute levels.
A $150 NLH With $50 Bounties – Event 2 in the series – takes place Sunday at 2pm, 10,000 stacks and 20-minute levels.
Midweek 6pm starting-time tournaments include Monday’s $100 8-Max with a $5,000 Guarantee (10,000 stacks and 20-min levels); Tuesday’s $100 Omaha8 with a $,2500 Guarantee (10,000 stacks and 20-min levels) and Wednesday’s $10,000 Guaranteed $160 DeepStack (25,000 stacks and 20-min levels).
Qualify for the Main Event via $70 or $125 Satellites on Thursday – Satellite Day – at 10am, 2pm, and 7pm (satellites start Sunday, at least one daily.)
The $100,000 Guaranteed $550 Main Event begins with a 4pm flight on Friday, Sept. 27, followed by the Noon-start for Day 1B on Saturday ,Sept. 28. Players receive 30,000 stacks and play 30-minute levels on Day 1, moving to 40-minute levels on Day 2 once Level 19 begins. Each Day 1 flight plays until the money bubble pops, then players go home to return on Day 2.
The Main Event winner appears on the cover of the November edition of Ante Up Magazine, receives a Champion’s Jacket and earns an entry to the 2020 Ante Up World Championship at TVPokerRoom at Thunder Valley Resort in northern California.
