The Western Senior Poker Series is holding its inaugural Cary Marshall Memorial Tournament Aug. 19 as part of the Ante Up Poker Tour series at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, NV.
Cary was a friend to just about everyone he crossed paths with in the poker community. We lost a great friend when he passed away last week, the news stunning so many from coast-to-coast.
Al Ahlm, co-founder of the WSPS, was one of Cary’s close friends. He’s honoring Cary by naming the Reno event in Cary’s honor. Eric Harkins from ImpdiWorld, aka The Godfather of Poker Photography, has donated one of his iconic photos of Cary and his dog, Tahoe, as part of the event.
