Jeff Fielder came in a weekend early to Prime Social in Houston, planning not only to play the $500,000 Guaranteed $1,100 Main Event but also get in a warmup in the $200,000 Guaranteed $500 H-Town Special.
603 eliminations later and Fielder bagged the $50,240 first-place prize, along with a rather heavy trophy and a kickass poster signed by Nolan Ryan, Earl Campbell and Hakeem Olajuwon (Houston Sports Greatest #34s) as winner of the H-Town Special.
Fielder dominated late-action Day 2 play, and then ran second-best at the livestreamed final table for at least three straight hours before regaining some RunGood and grabbing the win. Play went from 3-handed to over in back-to-back eliminations my Fielder.
