Cards are in the air for the inaugural Cary Marshall Memorial WSPS Seniors Tournament – a $200 buy-in standing in today at 2019 Ante Up Reno Series Event 9.
Players open with a 15,000 stack and play 30-minute levels the entire two-day, $15,000 Guaranteed tournament.
Registration and the unlimited-entry period is open through the first eight levels and a 45-minute break after Level 8, closing at about 3pm when Level 9 begins.
Day 1 plays until the money bubble pops, then players Bag-n-Tag to come back Tuesday at 10am for the Day 2 Final.
The event is now named in memory of Cary Marshall, who recently passed away. Cary was a poker-original, a laugh (and a beer) for everyone as he captured your chips at the table. The day began with Al Alhm – co-founder of the WSPS – asking for a moment of silence for Cary.
Groups are headed across the street to the Lucky Beaver for a burger and refreshments once the Bag-n-Tag is over at around ~630-7pm tonight.
