God of Thunder Nearly Goes Back-to-Back

Brett Murray won the September 2018 WSOP Circuit Main Event at Thunder Valley Resort in northern California, defeating a 599-entry field.

18 weeks later the WSOPC returned to TVPokerRoom and Murray came within one player of going back-to-back, finishing as runner-up to Thomas Kornechuk in the 608-entry Main Event.

The win pushes Murray past JC Tran in to 1st Place on the All-Time TVPokerRoom money list, winning more than $500,000 just at that poker room.
