Here’s a look at the entire Main Event coverage from the Spring 2024 Colorado Poker Championships at Bally’s Black Hawk.
Right after the elimination of Billy Gallegos in the Main Event, there was less than five minutes before the end of the level and break. Danny Gonzales, Matt Livingston and Eric Smidinger counted down their stacks and they were all virtually even.
There was maybe six big blinds total between three stacks, they negotiated an even chop deal with Gonzales taking home the trophy. Livingston and Smidinger drew a high card to determine the second and third place.
All three players were happy to make the deal, were eager to head home as work calls on Monday morning. Each player earned third place points in the CPC Series leaderboard that awards ten seats to the $2,500 High Roller on May 26th.
