Back in January 2023, the final table of the WSOP Circuit Main Event at northern California’s TVPokerRoom inside Thunder Valley Casino Resort was absolutely loaded with talent.
The final nine featured three players each with more than $1 million in career earnings – then-No.2 ranked GPI female poker player Angela Jordison, two-time MSPT champ Ken Baime, and Brandon Zuidema – along with a future WPT Champions Cup member in Casey Sandretto and (eventual winner) Bilguun Odgerel – plus the Day 1B chipleader named Jordan Griff, with some $23,000 in total earnings to that point.
Griff went on to finish 9th, and record – at the time – his best-ever tournament cash of $18,104.
Fast-forward 18 months and Griff is playing today for $10,000,000, one of the final three players in the 20-24 WSOP Main Event, with $4,000,000 already locked up.
Today alone, Griff’s career earnings are going to surpass the total poker tournament winnings from everyone who played against him at that January 2023 TVPokerRoom final table.
You can watch Griff, online poke legend ‘Lena900’ Niklas Astedt and Jonathan Tamayo battle it out for the WSOP Main Event title and the $10 million first-place prize. The runner-up receives $6 million, and third-place scores $4 million today.
