Mitch Barney won the opening weekend $50,000 Guarantee in the 2019 Ante Up Reno Series, but his Main Event Day 1A experience has not been the greatest.
His first entry gone, Barney was back with an additional entry just before dinner break. An hour after dinner and Barney runs in to the Aces of Valerie Hanley and is eliminated from Day 1A.
The very next hand, Al Sanchez is is with Ace-King against the Ace-Eight of Hanley.
2-5-8 goes the flop, over to Hanley goes the chips of Sanchez. Sharon Sanchez was eliminated from an adjacent table about 6 hands before Al’s elimination, the couple not expected back tomorrow for Day 1B.
