Valerie Hanley - 2019 Ante Up Reno Main Event
Valerie Hanley is known as one of the most aggressive players at any table she joins, a brake pedal considered an unnecessary option.
She was moved to the right of Loren Klein with 18 players left in the Ante Up Reno Main Event and commented she was not going to be able to play her normal style with Klein sitting ready to act after her.
Final table time comes and the positions are reversed, with Hanley having position, but she remained more cautious than normal with the four-time WSOP bracelet winner at the table.
Hanley eliminated Klein JJ > 99 to move to 1.75 million, and the brake pedal has now been completely disassembled.
Hanley is up to 2.4 million, no other player with more than 700,000 5-handed for the title.
