UPDATE: Bob’s surgery went well, he even checked in with us on his way home from the hospital to say he was feeling better and to thank everyone for their support!

One of every poker player’s favorite tournament staff members – THE Poker Ambassador, Bob Smith – is going to be down for a short bit as he needs hip replacement surgery.

As a community, let’s all come together to help get Bob through this, as the types of medical insurance nightmares we ALL read about in the media are ones Bob is going through daily.

Friends such as Jesse Fullen and the crew here – yes, Jesse is a full-fledged member of the #FunTour2point0 staff – are helping let the entire community know about a GoFundMe page set up to assist Bob with all the bills associated with his scheduled May 9 surgery and the recovery process.

The plan is for post-surgery to include a need for daily walking to have Bob ready in time to run the Day 2 Restarts and Final Table action during the 2024 WSOP in Las Vegas.

Let’s all come together and help get Bob to surgery, through surgery, and onto the floor at the 2024 WSOP

Thank you, for your support.
