Gary Herstein defeated a field of 517 entries to claim the HPT $1650 East Chicago title, just two weeks after chopping the America’s Poker Tour $1100 Majestic Star title only 2 miles away.
Herstein earned $170,404 for the win, holding off Darrell Haywood in a solid heads-up match.
This was Herstein’s 4th final table in East Chicago and Gary in $1100 or $1650 Main Events since April,
