All-in and behind to a shorter stack with 22 players left, David Valdez was cut back to little more than a single BB in the OneDay$100k at Thunder Valley yesterday.

One double, another double, a knockout, another double and soon Valdez found himself with the top stack at the final table.

The player second in chips was the one who knocked him to 1BB – Chris Hinchcliffe – and those two took the top two place in one of Thunder Valley’s most popular tournament each year.
