Escondido’s Aaron Knapp bagged the top stack among the seven players advancing from Friday’s Day 1A on to Sunday’s Day 2 Final in the $40,000 Guaranteed $300 at Jamul Poker Room in San Diego.
Event 1 of the Ante Up Poker Tour San Diego series drew a 64-entry field, and a double-elimination on the night’s final hand sent seven players on to Day 2.
Day 1B starts Saturday at Noon, 20,000 stacks and 30-minute levels, with registration closing at 4:30pm when Level 9 begins.
