Kevin O’Donnell made the trip from his Sonoma County abode specifically to pay tribute to his buddy Cary Marshall in today’s $15,000 GTD $200 WSPS Seniors event.

O’Donnell arrived at Atlantis Reno on Friday night, won Sunday’s $10k GTD $260 and said he had a goal of going back-to-back in the Ante Up Reno series by winning this event as well.

With 11 30-minute levels in the books, O’Donnell is one of the chipleaders at about 140,000. Players are on a 15-minute break at the end of Level 12, and are right on the edge of that being the final break of Day 1.

Day 1 wraps up when the field is reduced to 25 – all in the money – bagging up to return Tuesday at 10am for the Day 2 Final.

  • LEVEL – 12
  • ANTE – 2000
  • BLINDS – 1000/2000
  • ENTRIES – 56/206
