WSOP Circuit Returns to Thunder Valley

The WSOP Circuit returns to Northern California’s premier poker destination, TVPokerRoom at Thunder Valley Casino Resort, with 16 ring events scheduled Sept. 24 – Oct. 5.

The $500,000 Guarantee $1,700 Main Event Oct. 2-5 features two starting flights on Friday and Saturday, both offering one (1) re-entry per flight and playing down to the money (15%). All players advancing to Day 2 return on Sunday to play down to the final table taking place on Monday and awarding a six-figure first-place prize to its eventual champion.

The first weekend of the series is a $250,000 guarantee with$400 Mini Main four starting flights from Thursday through Saturday. playing down to a winner on Sunday. The top 15% from each flight make the money, and the top 10% of each field advances to Sunday’s Day 2 to play down to a winner.

New to TVPokerRoom and its WSOP Circuit schedule is a $400 two-day Mirror Mystery Bounty 9/27-29 where all the payouts match the bounty envelopes, so there are two first place prizes, for example, one to the tournament winner and one available in a random envelope draw. Opening flights – with unlimited entries – play to the money, all Night 2 players are bounty eligible and in the money.

Additionally, the ever-popular two-day $100,000 guaranteed Monster Stack offers two starting flights, with the top 15% of each flight combine to play down to a winner on Day 2.

Other exciting events on the schedule include:

  • Seniors Event (Event #1) on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 9 am, with a $400 Freezeout at 10 am and the first Mini Main flight at 3 pm
  • One-day $50k guaranteed ($400 buy-in) on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 11 am
  • $3,300 High Roller on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 3 pm (8-hour Day 1; unlimited re-entry; Day 2 Final on Friday at noon with reg open until Day 2 begins)
  • Single-day $50k guaranteed $400 on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 10 am.

Mixed-Game Events:

  • $600 PLO two-day event on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 3 pm. Day 2 restart Monday at noon.
  • $600 HORSE two-day event on Monday, Oct. 28 at 3 pm. Day 2 restart Tuesday at noon.
  • $600 Omaha 8 two-day event on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 3 pm. Day 2 restart Wednesday at noon.
  • $600 2/7 Triple Draw two-day event on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 3 pm. Day 2 restart Thursday at noon.

Before the series begins, the Poker Room offers $120 step satellites from Sept. 21-23, leading to their always-popular $500 Package Satellite where 20 packages of a $1,700 Main Event entry, one $600 entry and one $400 entry are guaranteed.

We’re Back at Black Hawk in September and November

Our Poker Live Updates team returns two more times in 2026 to Bally’s Black Hawk in Colorado to provide live tournament coverage of each scheduled Colorado Poker Championship Main Event.

Up next is the Aug. 26 – Sept. 91  Summer CPC Series with its Main Event running Sept. 10-13. Our team is onsite for full live tournament coverage of the $1,200 entry multi-flight event.

CPC Main Events features 40,000 starting stacks and 12 40-minute levels for registration. Day 2 play is set for 60-minute levels.

There’s three starting flights for each Main Event (Thursdays through Saturdays) and the Day 2 Final is set for Sundays for each Main Event.

We return to Black Hawk for the Oct. 28 – Nov. 21 Fall CPC Series, where we are onsite Nov. 12-15 for the $200k GTD $1,200 Main Event.

Starting tomorrow, you’ll find a daily Not So Live Updates page complete with a tab for each live event that day so you can find your chosen content in a much easier-to-digest format … or maybe not, maybe we’ll blend it all together .. who knows, we’re the Not Ready for Live Updates players, we’ll make it work somehow.
