Paul McGurk held off Jacob Arguello to take the win in Event 1 of the 2019 Ante Up Reno series – the $200 Warmup with $50 Bounties.
McGurk had the majority of all the chips in play 6-handed and never gave back the lead. Arguello was down to < 6BB at the final table but played his stack all the way back to the runner-up finish.
Play at the final table of the 69-entry event was pretty patient, but the floodgates opened once Jason Daniele busted in 8th, with the field down to 3 players in just two orbits.
