Nick Pupillo - Champion - HPT Black Hawk - February 2019
From a Day 1 when he seemed in control the entire time, to chipleader to start the final table, Nick Pupillo earned his second career Heartland Poker Tour Main Event Title tonight, winning $194,487 as the HPT Black Hawk Champion.
The tournament at Gates Poker Room in Colorado drew a 588-entry field, the players creating a prize pool of more than $850,000 as Black Hawk continues to produce some of the largest tournaments each year for the HPT.
Here’s our tournament recap we wrote for HPTupdates.com, along with the full tournament reporting and photography we did for the weekend’s event.
Our next scheduled HPT Main Event where we’re providing tournament reporting is March 14-18 at Hollywood St. Louis.
