Day 2 chipleader Michael O’Neill maintained his advantage for two full days, taking down the Heartland Poker Tour $1,100 Main Event at Belterra Casino in Florence, IN.
O’Neill takes home $93,340 and a Championship Package to the HPT Season Championship at Ameristar East Chicago at the end of the season. He defeated Frank Guerra heads-up for the victory.
Next up for the HPT is a return to Las Vegas and a $1,650 Main Event at the Westgate Resort and Casino – home ot the worlds-biggest sports book.
