Joseph Dudek’s Flopped set of Sixes fell to a nut-nut hand, leaving Justin Moore as the only one of the 17 players remaining in today’s $125 Omaha8 who can overtake Federico Ayala for top spot on the Series Champion leaderboard.
Ayala did not play the afternoon tournament, letting his 227 points ride. Moore is at 132 and needs to win the Omaha8 to take over the top spot. Dudek, David Covarrubias (3rd) and Ray Blair (4th) are all out of the Omaha8, while Vincent Chung (6th) Jerry Utke (7th and in Las Vegas now) and Carol Volper (8th) opted to not play the Omaha8.
Dudek has yet to enter tonight’s Mexican Poker, while Covarrubias and Blair are in – Well, Blair WAS in but he’s out in Level 2 and has until the start of Level 7 to jump back in.
