Mike Lancaster – with 11 cashes and seven final tables – wins the Peppermill Reno $50,000 added Poker Palooza Player of the Series race.
Players earned points for a cash in any of the 19 open events in the series (Casino Employee and Seniors event does not count), with the final Top-10 on the Leaderboard earning cash prizes from $1,000 up to $15,000 for the champion. Points are awarded as follows.
- One point per entry to the tournmanet winner. So, in a 200-entry field, the winner earns 200 points.
- 5 points less per place, for all finishers, so the 200-entry field awards 195 points for second, 190 for third, 185 for fourth, etc.
- The winner ONLY can earn a 10-percent point bonus by playing out the tournament. The bonus is not awarded if the event chops.
