Peppermill Reno – home to the largest-payout Player of the Series prize in the US – brings its Poker Palooza back to the poker felt Nov. 7-17, along with a huge list of mixed games, the lowest tournament rake in the country and much more.
Peppermill offers a $50,000 House-Added Player of the Series race for its 10 days of poker action, with the winner receiving $15,000, a $10,000 cash prize to the runner-up, and the entire Top-10 finishers earning a payout. This is a rake-free payout, the money added by the casino.
Featured tournaments include the $300,000 Guarantee $1k ($900 + $100) on the final weekend, a $150,000 Guarantee $550+$50 Mini-Main on opening weekend and the West Coast debut of a Mirror Mystery Bounty – a $550+$50 with a $100,000 Guarantee – the day before the Main Event begins.

The Mirror Mystery Bounty – made popular by the team at the Borgata – provides two identical sets of payouts – one for tournament finishes and one in the mystery envelopes. Once in the money – the event pays the final 10 percent of the field – each envelope contains a prize matching every tournament cash. There is a first-place prize to the tournament winner and the top Mystery Bounty envelope is the very same prize. The envelop with number 5 in it, for example, is the same prize as the fifth-place tournament finish, etc.
Player of Series
There are 29 scheduled tournaments on the series agenda. Players receive points – determined by field size – for scheduled in-the-money finishes in all open-field tournaments (no points for Seniors, Ladies or Casino Employee events). The final Top-10 earn cash prizes, and in each series the final places seem to come down to the last series tournaments.
Player of the Series points are updated each night and on display as players arrive to the upper-floor spacious tournament arena with 40 poker tables, a player bar and a large Bad Beat Lounge seating area. On the final series day, points are updated hourly, with players gathering around the scoreboard to see where they are in points, whether they need to register for one more event, and who they still need to hold off -creating a fun and exciting conclusion to 10 days of poker.
Mixed Games
A big selection of non-NLH events are offered for the Fall 2025 Poker Palooza, including an 8-Game Mix, Dealer’s Choice, Triple Triple Draw, Omaha Mix, Crazy Pineapple and more ranging from $240-$360 entry points.
Our Poker Live Updates team is the in-house reporting team at Peppermill Reno, onsite and providing regular updates for all 29 series tournaments. You can follow the action here at Peppermill Reno’s reporting homepage.
