The $750,000 Peppermill Poker Palooza is coming to Reno from November 3-13. In addition to the aforementioned $750,000, the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino is adding $50,000 to the all-around player prize pool.
There are 32 tournaments and satellites in all – with 12 championship medals and trophies awarded over the course of the series. The all-around champion takes home $15,000, and the top-10 in that race all win cash.
The Main Event features a guaranteed prize pool worth $300,000, and it runs from November 10-12. Players have two options for starting flights on Friday and Saturday of that weekend, with Day 2 playing out Sunday to crown a champion. All Main Event days shuffle up and deal at Noon.
Other highlights on the tournament series schedule include a $600 buy-in Mini Main that kicks off the opening weekend on Friday, November 3 with a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000. The third tournament on the schedule with a six-figure guarantee is the $600 buy-in Top 40 Mystery Bounty that starts on November 9, and it also has a prize pool guaranteed at $100,000.
For the second year in a row, unfortunately, the WSOP And Harvey’s Tahoe has moved its WSOP Circuit Series to the very same says as the Peppermill Poker Palooza. Peppermill management says it is keeping all its guarantees no matter what impact, if any, the WSOP and Harvey’s Tahoe’s decision has on turnout.
In addition to the many No-Limit Hold’em options, other games spread in tournaments include Big O, Pot-Limit Omaha, and a mix-game championship. Variations in NLHE that are on the schedule will see multiple bounty events, Supersonic, Win the Button, Shootout, and Progressive KO.
Peppermill is also be providing some other fun benefits in addition to the poker action,including the 24/7 live cash action in the poker room. There is a Palooza welcome dinner at 6 pm on Monday, Nov. 6 near the start of the series. Free breakfast is provided before the start of play on Day 2 in all multi-day events. Players can also play Palooza Cornhole for additional cash prizes between poker sessions, and a karaoke night takes place at EDGE at 9 pm on November 7.
