Tables 4, 5 and 6 today have a familial feel to them with two regionally-well-known poker couples having Day 1A stacks in play for the $200,000 Guaranteed Ante Up Reno Main Event at the Atlantis Poker Room.
Valerie and Dick Hanley (left) are among the Reno regulars, playing many tournaments here when they are not enjoying their other residence south of the border. Dick has final tabled the WSOP Circuit main in Tahoe previously and both have been the final table bubble when HPT came to Reno in years past.
Sharon and Al Sanchez (right) are the First Couple of TVPokerRoom at Thunder Valley, two hours west just outside Sacramento. Sanchez just won the Player of the Series title when the Ante Up Poker Tour was at TVPokerRoom for a 30-tournaments-in-23-days series last month.
Valerie and Sharon have the top two stacks among the two couples after four levels today.
