His fourth top-10 finish in a Heartland Poker Tour Main Event wrapped up for Darryl Ronconi with a victory at Ameristar East Chicago for his career-best $175,482 cash.

Ronconi captured the January 2018 title by defeating Ryan Kulovitz heads-up FTW. The $108,401 cash for Kulovitz was not only his first HPT payout, it was his first-ever poker tournament cash.

The 544-entry tournament created a $783,360 prize pool.
