Ronald Segni was sitting 30 points back of Tavish Margers when Event 8 – $100 Series Finale – began in the Ante Up Jamul San Diego Series, needing a 3rd-place or better finish, and no cash for Margers, to earn the Player of the Series title.

Segni went two places better, winning the Series Finale and with it, he is the inaugural Ante Up Jamul Sand Diego Player of the Series. Margers finishes 2nd, with Christopher Smith and David Para tied for 3rd, Smith holding the tiebreaker of most money earned in the series.

Here’s what the top-three finishers win.

  • Segni – A $550 Entry in to a future Sweetwater Showdown tournament.
  • Margers – A $250 credit to Prime Cut Dining at Jamul Casino.
  • Smith – $100 in Jamul Poker Room tournament vouchers.
