Jamul San Diego Poker Room
There’s an open to 8,000, then Saum Sharifi bumps it ~4x to 33,500 all-in. Action folds around to the original raiser, who asks for a count, then puts Sharifi at risk in Day 1B of the Ante Up Jamul San Diego $550 Main Vvent.
- Sharifi turns up Five_Six (diamonds)
- His challenger shows King_Jack (diamonds, also)
Sharifi takes the lead on the 5s – 8d – 7h flop, falling behind once again on the Jc turn, but getting there for a straight with the river 9d.
Chirp-like table banter follows, Sharifi talking about how he didn’t want to move forward a 30k stack on to Sunday, his challenger implying 56dd was a less-than-stellar hand to attempt a double with.
