Chris Smith - Jamul San Diego Poker Room
LEVEL 22 —- ANTE 30K —– BLINDS 15K-30K —– REMAIN 6/171
Christopher Smith opens for 65,000 and action folds to Najib Kero in the BB, who asks for the bet amount, and then makes the call.
Both players check the 7c – 9s – 6s action flop, with Kero leading out for 150,000 on the 7s more-action turn. Smith doesn’t waste much time in making the call.
6h comes on the even-more-action river, and Smith moves all in for his last 385,000. Kero asks for a count, asks for a count a second time, asks the pot be spread, gets clock called on him and then makes the call for half of his stack.
Smith shows 8h- 7h for a flopped middle pair and open-ended draw that turned trips and rivered a boat.
Kero shows 4s -5s for a flopped open-ended straight draw and a flush draw and completed the flush on the turn and was also an open-ended straight flush draw that was beaten on the river.
Smith to 1.2 million, Kero to 385,000, 6-handed play continues in the main event.
