LEVEL 20 —- ANTE 20k —– BLINDS 10k/20k —- REMAIN 11/171
A few hands after taking most of Tailong Qiao’s stack, Event 1 winner Christopher Smith calls TQ’s all in for 140,000, the last 7BB for TQ..
- Ace_Ten for Qiao
- Nine_Seven for Smith
Smith is OK with the 8 – 5 – J flop giving him a gutter to a straight. The 4 turn doesn’t change anything, but Smith doesn’t need the straight, catching a river 9 FTW to move to 1.35 million chips and a massive chiplead.
Qiao is out in 12th place, earning $2,203 and 17 Player of the Series points to move to 10th on the leaderboard with the final two tournaments ($240 with $100 Bounty and $100 Series Finale) taking place today.
