Here are the details on the 2014/15 Season One Platinum VIP Holdem Radio Sponsorship Series.

SPONSORSHIPS:

A total of four Holdem Radio Sponsorships are being played for to gain entry into the 2015 World Series of Poker. One $1,000 Sponsorship to an event of the player’s choice and $500 in travel expenses; One $1,500 Sponsorship to an event of the player’s choice and $500 in travel expenses; and Two Sponsorships into the $565 Colossus (starting dates May 28-29) and $250 in travel expenses.

SATELLITE AND CHAMPIONSHIP FREEROLLS:

Platinum VIP Members in good standing play in satellite freerolls on Poker Stars Home Games. Top finishers in each Satellite Freeroll advance to a 9-player Single Table Championship freeroll for that specific Sponsorship. The winner of each Single Table Championshipfreeroll earns the Sponsorship.

DATES:

Platinum VIP Members competing in the $1,000 Satellite Freerolls compete the second Thursday each month from August 2014 through April 2015. The Single Table Championship Freeroll takes place April 23, 2015. Platinum VIP Members competing in the $1,500 Satellite Freerolls compete the third Thursday each month from August 2014 through April 2015. The Single Table Championship Freeroll takes place April 30, 2015. Platinum VIP Members competing in the $565 Colossus Satellite Freerolls compete each Monday from Feb. 2 through March 9, 2015 for the first Colossus Sponsorship. The Single Table Championship Freeroll takes place March 16, 2015 for the first Colossus Sponsorship. Platinum VIP Members competing in the $565 Colossus Satellite Freerolls compete each Monday from March 16 through April 13, 2015 for the second Colossus Sponsorship. The Single Table Championship Freeroll takes place April 20, 2015 for the second Colossus Sponsorship.

QUALIFIERS:

In both the $1,000 and $1,500 Satellite Freerolls, the winner of the freeroll advances to that event’s 9-player Single Table Championship freeroll to win the Sponsorship and a $500 travel allowance. Should a player win a second Satellite Freeroll, the runner-up shall earn the Single Table Championship freeroll seat, while the winner shall play the Single Table Championship to earn an additional $250 in travel allowance.

For the Colossus Satellite Freerolls, the first and second place finishers in each of the first four Satellite Freerolls qualify for the 9-player Single Table Championship freeroll. Only the winner shall advance from the Last Chance Satellite Freeroll into the 9-player Single Table Championship freeroll. Should a player qualify for more than one Single Table Championship freeroll seat , the runner-up shall earn the Single Table Championship freeroll seat, while the winner shall play the Single Table Championship freeroll to earn an additional $150 in travel allowance.

CASH VALUE:

The winners of each of the four Sponsorships may take their prize out in cash rather than accept theSponsorship and travel allowance. The cashout value for the $1,000 Sponsorship is $599. The cashout value for the $1,500 Sponsorship is $899. The cashout value for the $565 Colossus Sponsorship is $339. Travel alloweances are forfeited should the winner decline the Sponsorship in favor of a cashout.

GOOD STANDING:

All Plaitinum VIP Members shall be current on their membership dues to be considered in Good Standing in order to compete in any Freeroll. Members do have the option of monthly or quarterly payment on their membership dues. Any member who is two monthly payments behind or one qurterly payment behind shall have their membership suspended and shall forfeit the ability to play any Freeroll until their membership is in good standing. All members who take the monthly or quarterly payment option do so with the committment of completing a full membership payment, whether they compete in any or all Freerolls, as the Freerolls are only one part of a Platinum VIP Membership.
