$4 Million in Guarantees March 10-29 in Houston

The largest full series and largest guarantee in state history takes place in March as Prime Social Houston hosts the 2022 Texas Poker Championship. The feature event at the $2 Million GTD $5,300 Main Event March 24-29. Each of the first two weekends featuring a $500,000 GTD event. A dozen mixed games are also on the schedule.

The series kicks off March 10-13 with a $500k GTD $500 Mystery Bounty, seven starting flights and the final 10 percent of the field playing for the bounties Day 2. The top bounty is $50,000, with one $25,000 bounty reserved just for the nine final table players.

All 22 primary tournaments in the series are livestreamed. The series adds 13 $250 nightly events on the tournament schedule.

The middle weekend is The Big Texas $500k GTD $1,100. There’s four starting flights March 16-19 and the final day on the 20th. There’s a one Day $100k GTD $600 on the 20th, and a $100,000 GTD $1,100 PLO Championship on the 21st.

The $2 Million GTD $5,300 Main Event has three starting flights the 24-26th. Each Day 1 flight is an eight-hour play day. Registration is open through the first 90-minute Day 2 level on the 27th. Day 3 plays down to the final 24 competitors, wrapping up on the 29th.

Satellites are everywhere for the Main Event, with 74 total seats guaranteed – 50 of those on the 23rd on Mega Satellite Day. Chances to win a Main Event entry start at $250 every night leading up to the Main Event.

Mixed Games are heavily featured, with a dozen different tournaments ranging from $250-$3,000. Among the games is NL 2-7 Single Draw, PLO, HORSE, Dealer’s Choice, Big O, Triple Stud, Omaha 8, PLO 8 and Short Deck.
