Series tournament poker returns to Northern California Aug. 13-29 as TVPokerRoom at Thunder Valley Resort hosts the annual Ante Up World Championships.

The schedule has 17 poker tournaments in 17 days, with more than $1 million in total guarantees. The series highlight is an Aug. 27-29 $500,000 Guaranteed $1,650 World Championship Main Event. There’s one starting flight Friday and Saturday, 1+1 entries per flight.

There’s also the $100,000 GTD one-entry-day $1k NorCal Classic for opening weekend and the always-popular $250,000 GTD four-starting-flights $460 Monolith for the middle weekend of the series.

The Ante Up Worlds always has a Head-to-Head championship, and that is also back as a $400 buy-in with a 64-player max field on Aug. 26, the day before the Main Event begins.

There’s a three-starting-flights $100,000 GTD $275 Action8 held the three days before the Head-to-Head. The series wraps up with a $50k GTD Last Call on Aug. 29, while the Day 2 Final of the Main Event takes place.

TVPokerRoom hosted the last full poker tournament series in California in March 2020 before the state locked down due to pandemic restrictions. The room is back with the first extended series since that time.

We return back to our NorCal ‘home,’ on site daily with live tournament updates throughout the entire Ante Up Worlds as the in-house tournament reporting team, and yes, it is good to be going back home.

Here’s the full schedule and all structure sheets.
