Alex Greenblatt took down the Heartland Poker Tour Main Event in at Golden Gates Casino in Black Hawk Monday afternoon. Watching on the LiveStream while playing a WSOP Circuit event at Thunder Valley was his buddy Brett Murray.
About 7 hours later, Murray won his circuit ring in the 8-Max.
Greenblatt – twice a HPT Runner-up (2013 Commerce, 2014 Black Hawk) – took home $179,274 for the win at Gates Poker Room.
Murray – with 23 previous WSOP Circuit cashes for slightly more than $100,000 – earned his first Circuit Ring last night.
