Back in 2010, Jamul San Diego Poker Room Manager John Rochfort was in northern California with Ben Erwin, opening the poker room at Thunder Valley Resort. The first tournament series held at TVPokerRoom was an Ante Up Magazine Poker Tour event.
Today it is Erwin, TVPokerRoom Tournament Director John Quattrochi and Ante Up Magazine Publisher Scott Long all here joining Rochfort in celebrating the first tournament series at Jamul Casino – an Ante Up Poker Tour event.
As part of the first-place prize, the winner of the Main Event tomorrow night earns an entry in to the July 2020 Ante Up $500,000 Guaranteed World Championship $1,650 in TVPokerRom at Thunder Valley.
The poker community is not a very big one, and for some it has a feel of family. The family is here today for the Main Event.
