The first tournament series of the New Year hosted by TVPokerRoom at Thunder Valley Casino Resort is Uncork ’25 – The Champagne Series January 2-14. There are 11 tournaments hosted during the series to expand on the schedule of offerings from last year, and many of them have guaranteed prize pools.

The Poker Live Updates team returns to TVPokerRoom for this series, beginning its 13th season of providing in-house tournament coverage on the room’s blog.

Champagne Main is the marquee event of the series – a $600 entry with $200,000 guaranteed – January 11-12. There are flights at 11 am and 4 pm on the first day of the tournament on Saturday. The final day plays down to a winner starting at 11 am on Sunday. Starting stacks are 30,000, with blinds kicking off at 100-200 with a big blind ante of 200 for the first 30-minute level.

Satellites run throughout the tournament series beginning on January 2. Buy-ins for the satellites range from $125-$200, with prize packages worth $600-$1,000 for 1-in-6 players.

Two other events on the tournament schedule boast guaranteed prize pools of $100,000. The first is the $200 buy-in Pop The Top tournament from January 6-8, with five starting flights for players to jump into the action before Day 2 at 5 pm on the 8th. The $300 buy-in NorCal Jacked Stack tournament has the second guarantee of $100,000 from January 9-10. Three starting flights lead up to Day 2 at 5 pm on the 10th.

Other unique events on the schedule include a 20/20/20 (20,000 starting chips/20-minute levels/$20,000 guaranteed) on January 13, and a 30/30/30 (30,000 starting chips/30-minute levels/$30,000 guaranteed) on January 5.

There is a $200 buy-in Omaha 8 tournament and a $200 knockout with $50 bounties, both running on January 8. The Encore closes things out on January 14 with a $150 buy-in and $10,000 guaranteed prize pool. Start the year off on the right foot by joining all the fun at Thunder Valley.
