The World Poker Tour comes of age this year as Season 21 begins, the first Main Tour event taking place at Thunder Valley Resort in northern California. The WPT Rolling Thunder series runs March 19 – April 4, with the $3,500 buy-in Rolling Thunder Main event running April 1-4.
There’s a five-day WPT Kickoff at TVPokerRoom to get tournament events flowing, with a $500 entry OneDay$100k as the anchor tenant.
The WPT Kickoff also features a huge WPT Package Satellite where 1-in-8 entries earns $5,100 worth of WPT Rolling Thunder series entries, including the Main Event, OneDay$100k and the $1 Million Guarantee March 23-26 Deepstack Thunder Valley $1,100.
There’s 135 entries guaranteed in to the $1 Million GTD Deepstack Thunder Valley via additional direct satellites, with 65 entries guaranteed to the $3,500 WPT Rolling Thunder in direct satellites.
Additional Rolling Thunder series events include the Bounty Confidential – a $100,000 Guarantee $1,100 with mystery payouts of up to $25,000 for bounties.
two additional $100,000 Guarantees are on the Rolling Thunder schedule, a $500 buy-in Action8 – where the ante is equal to the BB and SB combined – and the $1,100 Leaning Tower of Chips with 30,000 starting stacks.
