The poker room at Graton Resort and Casino is back in the live tournament poker mix with a great festival of RunGood Poker Seriesevents March 5-15. The schedule features 19 events over 11 days, including many non-Hold’em events in the California Wine Country city of Rohnert Park.
In addition to a robust selection of hold’em events just north of San Francisco, the schedule also spreads Pot-Limit Omaha, Omaha 8OB, Mixed PLO, TORSE, and Double Board Bomb Pot PLO as standalone events.
There are many fun NLH variations on the schedule as well, including a Double Green Chip Bounty, PowerStack, Flip & Go, Big Bounty, Tag Team, Seniors, Six-Max, Black Chip/Ambassador Bounty, and a Last Chance event on the final day of the tournament series on Sunday, March 15.
The series all leads up to the RunGood Poker Series Main Event featuring a $300,000 guarantee with a buy-in of $1,100 from March 13-15, including four starting flights during the first two days of the championship tournament. Flights for the RGPS Passport Season Main Event begin at 11 am during Day 1A and 1B, with afternoon flights getting cards in the air at 5 pm. The survivors combine to play Day 2 on March 15, playing down to the crowning of a new RGPS champion.
The big kickoff event is the aforementioned $400 buy-in Poker News Power Stack with a $200,000 guarantee and a ring up for grabs starting March 5 with five total starting flights. The first day of the tournament series host a single starting flight at 5 pm. The next two days offer duel starting-flights at 11 am and 5 pm, and the survivors advance to the final day on March 8.
