$500K Guaranteed Mid-Major Championship Comes in July During the RunGood Poker Series
A major announcement came from three major brands in the poker world today, with Hendon Mob/GPI sponsoring its first poker tournament in North America in July 2023. That tournament is the $500,000 guaranteed Mid-Major Championship as part of the RunGood Poker Series taking place at Thunder Valley Casino Resort from July 13-31 in Lincoln, California on the outskirts of Sacramento.
The series runs for three weeks with 17 ring events on the schedule. In addition to the Hendon Mob Mid-Major Championship, other top events include a $250,000 guaranteed Monolith, kicking things off the opening weekend, and the three-week series ends with the $1,000,000 guaranteed RunGood CheckPoint Main Event.

This news continues the trend of two-time Global Poker Award “Best Mid-Major Tour” recipient, the RunGood Poker Series strengthening its relationship with the Thunder Valley Poker Room. In addition to this major stop, RunGood returns in November for the Dream Seat Invitational sponsored by PokerGO, which will invite all 2023 RunGood Poker Series ring event winners to play in a private no-limit hold’em event. The winner of that event receives an add-on seat to the $1,000,000 guaranteed PokerGo Tour Championship that will play out in the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas.
