Andrew Moreno, Million Dollar Main Event Winner RunGood Final Orbit Thunder Valley

Mid-day Sunday – before the field was in the money – Andrew Moreno was a middle stack in the RunGood Million Dollar Main at TVPokerRoom and trending downward. At his table at that time was dominant chipleader Haixia Zhang, and she took two substantial pots, cutting Moreno down further.
Not much later, Moreno made a big fold, laying a small flush down to all all-in bet from Paul Vang. As Moreno’s cards mucked, Vang showed the bluff and the comments from tablemates were less than flattering, while the color looked to leave Moreno’s face.
“I felt as though they were making fun of me,” said Moreno – the 2021 Wynn Millions champion for $1.46 million. He added those comments made him slow down a bit, reconsider where he was in the event, and dedicate himself to running strong.
By the end of Sunday, he was 3/17 and set in position for a deep run.
Shortly after Monday began, Moreno moved to the chip lead and never looked back, en route to taking home the $200,080 first-place prize.
His final-table demeanor – a final table where he held the chip lead for all but four hands in the seven hours of competition – was as strong as his play.
Moreno managed the moods of those around him, calming nerves of newer players, helping them feel comfortable in their surroundings and with their actions.
A few words from family while on dinner break and five-handed, went a long way toward setting his mood until the end of play.
“My son is three years old and I asked him if he had any advice for me,” said Moreno, “He said you can do it, daddy.”
Moreno definitely did it, collecting $200,080 as the July 2025 Million Dollar Main champion.
