The PokerAtlas Tour is headed to Dallas, Texas in just a few days. The tournament series includes 21 events hosted at Texas Card House Dallas from August 15-September 5, and Texas Card House Las Colinas is be hosting some of the tournaments as well to give players many options for poker action during the three-week series.
The innovative PokerAtlas tournament software is in use the entire time, and that means that every player’s chip count is updated after every break in every tournament for the entire series.
Many tournaments on the schedule have some giant guarantees, with things kicking off for a prize pool of $1 Million guaranteed in Event 1 that runs for six days at the start of the series.
Other big guarantees include $100,000 for Event 5 (pot-limit Omaha), $500,000 guaranteed for the Mystery PAYDAY, $100,000 guaranteed for the single day NLHE event, and $100,000 guaranteed for the NLHE and PLO high roller events. The $1,000 buy-in NLHE Main Event boasts a guaranteed prize pool worth $1.5 million.
Games spread include no-limit hold’em and pot-limit Omaha, Omaha 8OB, HORSE, and Triple Triple Draw. Many fun event twists are also in store with bomb pots, progressive KO bounties, the mystery PAYDAY, and double board bomb pots.
