The PokerAtlas Tour makes its first stop at Thunder Valley Casino Resort – continuing its 2024 schedule – in Northern California from May 10-20. The tournament series is called The Quest, with the motto: “Grit – Grind – Glory.”
The series is hosted by one of the premier poker rooms in California, in Lincoln, on the outskirts of Sacramento. The PAT joins its rightful place in a lineup of top tours that have made a stop at the Thunder Valley Poker Room, including the World Poker Tour, World Series of Poker Circuit, and RunGood Poker Series.
Tournament action includes over half-a-dozen different offerings on the schedule, with everything leading up to the $1,100 No-Limit Hold’em PokerAtlas Title Event from May 18th-20th. The Title Event has two starting flights, with a guaranteed prize pool of $250,000. All tournament days in the featured tournament begin at Noon, with the Day 1 survivors combining to play down to a champion for Day 2 on May 20th.
The series offers $500,000 in guaranteed prize pools throughout the schedule, and games spread include Omaha 8OB, along with NLH options such as Dueling 1Fifty5s, NorCal Jacked Stack, and Deep Freeze events.
The first flight of the big opening event begins on Sunday, May 12th to kick off the $155 buy-in Dueling 1Fifty5s with a guaranteed prize pool worth $100,000. There are a total of five starting flights in the tournament before all of the survivors combine to play down to a champion on Tuesday, May 14th at 5:30 pm.

Satellites begin on May 10th in the Thunder Valley Poker Room, and run until the penultimate day of the tournament series.

May 16: Event #4 – $300 Knockout with $100 Bounties
May 17: Event #5 – $300 Deep Freeze
May 18-20: Event #6 – $1,100 PokerAtlas Tour Title Event (two starting flights)
May 13: Event #7 – $300 PokerAtlas Finale
