We looked in to the activities a starup poker tour a month or so ago – with its claims to have one stop a month for the next 17 months, major National Sponsors, $250,000 guarantees on its $350 buy-in Main Events and more – and wanted to make sure the LGBT Poker Tour was legitimate before becoming involved. What we found, unfortunately, was that almost every claim made by the tour’s listed Executive Director was false. As more poker-based businesses began being contacted by this tour, we felt an obligation to publish our findings.
